About our partner
James F. Dutra, CPA, MST, MBA
Jim has provided clients with the traditional services of an accounting firm with a specific focus on small businesses. His experience includes senior financial management positions in both corporate and non-profit arenas, at a leading public CPA firm, and as an adjunct professor at several prominent colleges and universities.
Jim’s teaching keeps him abreast of the latest accounting and tax developments using technical sources that are prepared by leading publication firms. This helps provide the most current recommendation to his clients. In addition to his teaching Jim has also presented at various seminars related to personal tax issues. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants and holds a Masters Degree in Taxation and another in Business Administration.
